Keeping balanced on a wet, windy day

Today we are going up to the top of the mountain; Mount Lofty. At 2334 feet above sea level, this is Adelaide's highest mountain and overlooks the city, below.
Again, there were many young pupils, who were studying the Geography of this historic place.
You can see the rain rushing-in from St. Vincent's Gulf.

Good morning m.benaut!
So you had a wet windy day? We had a cold windy day. Definitely a cold snap!
Will we see more of the view tomorrow? I've been told it's beautiful!

If you light the blue touch paper will that thing take off?

Nathalie,
Oui!

Herr Schaussengraben,
It is there, no more !!

Just as I thought... you sent it on its way to clobber Old Knudsen on his birthday.

I know the weather seems terrible in this scene, but I've got to say I like this photo. It's very intense!

Well done!

What an admirable protruberance you have there, MB.
And Mount Lofty is a splendid name for a mountain.

M. le Dive,
You are indeed too aimiable, Sir, in your kind compliment.
Your analysis of this historic monument is pertinent, to the point and spot-on.
Your splendid observations shall not go unnoticed and we may even erect a monument to your good self, should you ever bless us with your honourable presence.

At first glance I thought the monument was a lighthouse and it was the sea coming over causing all the wetness.

With Global Warming, we may well see that occur.
