Adelaide's High Speed rail link to the rest of Australia.
When ALSTOM re-built the TGV line from Paris to Strasbourg, they took great care to ensure that the rails were laid with infinite precision. The lines are dead-true and level, and all the gradients, radii and track cambers are checked and set, to enable the TGV to speed along with speed and safety.
In the Adelaide hills, the lines take on a slightly more poetic approach and provide travellers with a lovely roller-coaster effect.
When you Click and enlarge this photo, you will get the hang of it.
Adelaide International Airport will always welcome you to Sunny South Australia.

I think I can, I know I can, I think...
You couldn´t have picked a better photo for yoour profile. It´s lovely! Little William - who is growing fast as you say - is adorable all wrapped up!
Now, about this post, wow! The inevitable question: were you laying on the train line to get this pisture??!! Looks dangerous.
He was only one day old in this shot, last September, in Sydney.
No, I put the camera on the line to get the effect of the wobbly rails. It's a telephoto shot to exaggerate the wobbles. As you can tell, I do like trains and trams. Perhaps you could show us what Alstom (Michael's firm), is doing with the trams in Rio?
Like this photo, the focus of it. Love even more your avatar! Beautiful. Hi William! x Well done that you got it... done now.
So far M.Benaut, Alstom is in Sao Paulo only, not Rio. They will install (this is not the correct verb but..) new metro trains there.
I´m still waiting for the line Rio-Sao Paulo so I can get to our neighbour city in about an hour!
(by car it takes 5-6 hours and by plane it´s fast but too expensive)
Ahhh...I've just spotted our newest recruit and future employee in a fantastic profile shot! William should start planning his expatriation to Paris now, so that he is fully prepared to join the firm. I expect M.Benaut to begin his induction process as soon as possible!
Great shot!
Welcome back Michael! We missed you. I'm certain that William will be on his way to Paris before he's into his teens.
Hey hey Michael, good to see you here! ISN'T this a fab photo?
Michael,
Welcome back to the land of the living, Monsieur.
The newest recruit is eight months old tomorrow and I need to find a toy shop that stocks Alstom Citadis model trams and / or TGVs.
If he is to be a future Eric Pieczak, he will need to get the feel of it from a very early age.
I see the girls are happy to see you back on deck too.
Send me an address M ou Mme Benaut. You never know what might end up in the post for little William.
Merci beaucoup, Michael.
I have wasted no time on that one, it's on gmail right now.
