Encore, un autre jour triste. Another sad day.
Aujourd'hui a été un autre jour triste dans notre famille.
Le père de Madame est mort ce matin.
It's a very sad day, today; Madame's Father passed away this morning.
Trevor was born in 1930 having a French Grandmother and Australian Parents.
He had four beautiful daughters, seven grand children and one great grandson.
Rest in Peace, Trevor.

"Perhaps they are not stars in the sky but rather openings where our loved ones shine down to let us know they are happy."
I am very sorry to hear of your loss, Madame. My condolences to you and your family.
Thank you everyone for your very kind, thoughtful messages.
Dad was a very complex, dominant and hard task master who took no prisoners. There are some whose paths he crossed who won't miss him but there are others who will.
Personally, I believe that he has been spared an uncomfortable old age, as he had been blind for the last thirty years and was quite deaf. Divorced for 40 years, his independent spirit meant that he would not have well endured anyone else caring for him. So, in that sense, it is better that he died suddenly.
Dad was not a religious man so his final farewell will be simple, next Monday. Today I meet with my three sisters to make the arrangements. You can see my sisters on the post a few days' back.
Again, thank you everyone. My sisters and I appreciate your comments very much.
Bonjour Tristesse. Il y a des jours où le ciel est triste et lourd. de tout coeur avec vous

Dear Madame Benaut. I am sorry to hear of your loss. I am sure you will always have fond memories of a father whom you describe as "complex." Your descriptuon reminded me of my own father and so pictures and emotions flood the self.
You and Monsieur Benaut have had a tough couple of months this year.
Please accept my deepest condolences. My thoughts are with you and Monsieur.
Dear Prudence and Clovis. Thank you so much. I appreciate your visit and your warm thoughts. I shall visit you Dear P in the next day or so.
Sorry that I'm arriving late and my deepest sympathy gets to you after the funeral.
What a very handsome man (natural, with a French grandmother!). I hope he had a peaceful death.
Thinking of you.
