Daily Photo Theme Day - (Something to dream about)

On waking myself this morning, I remember that I had been dreaming of returning to Toscana. Perhaps to Cortona, San Miniato Alto, or Sinalunga?
No, the Soil Geology of the Arno River and its alluvial plains, and the effect of its bearing capacity on early Italian Renaissance structures. If you look behind my left ear you will see cables and massive lead weights attempting to rectify something we all know so well.

My good friend M.Benaut, how young and spritely you look in this great photo.

Did I ever tell you that my Great Grandpappy always said "build upon the rock and not upon the alluvial plains", as well as the less well know phrase of "if not, why not, give me 10 good reasons", which of coarse has absolutely nothing to do with this photo.

If I look behind your right ear I can see cables etc. more so than behind your left ear... there I go being pedantic again... sorry.

You could have joined the group to your immediate right; then you could have had two photos of you and the tower!

You had some dream. What a view.

My Theme Day is of a city unto itself, with its own zip code, and a portrait of the "Peashooter" at the National Museum of the United States Air Force. Hope you like flying.

Sounds like I don't know my left from my right, but in Italy it doesn't really matter !

L'Italia è un paese molto bello.

I didn't know that condition could be rectified with cables and lead weights, MB.
Had I known I would have saved a fortune in medical fees!

Oh what an amusing photo for theme day! Makes us all dream.

You're looking very good here, I must say. I guess you did something to the long haired young chap (with a whit t-shirt) on your left, he's looking at you in a non friendly way..

What a great picture! I've never been there. (I've never been much of anywhere.)

It's on my list, though.

M. Benaut. I heard that in order to keep from leaning further, the I talians had put some water in thevery bottom level, and keep some crocs within as well, I also heard that thery feed them Bits and Brazilians, because they have a preference for such delicacies. Is that true? I really believe it. No wonder Monica and Lynn are staying home constantly.

It was probably a prankster aussie that caused the whole thing to lean in the first place!
