Today, Madame returned from Tahiti and kindly presented me with some beautiful gifts, including the morning newspaper and an excellent calendar.
I can now pronounce "December", in the native language.
I have also learned the correct way to build sand castles in Papeete.
This one looks like Madame, herself !!!

I have not thought about getting a 2008 calendar, but it soon will be here.

You know; - I didn't read that bit.
I forgot to look at what year it was/ is/ will be.
How could that have happened?

Such beauty on islands is hard to guess why? Nice photos of the gifts and I enjoyed your post today.

My daughter, Melinda, has a picture she took on my blog. It is a stunning macro.

I thought the lady in the calendar looked like Madame herself!!!

Did you know that Tahiti is big on plastic surgery? The moist and warm climate is very good for healing without stitchmarks and you can go on holidays in Tahiti, have a facelift there and come back looking younger!
