Tony Sanso is one of Adelaide's success stories. His wonderful restaurant, Osteria Sanso at Kanmantoo, 50 k out of town, is par excellence. His food has a Tuscany influence and he grows all his own herbs and vegies. I was relieved that he spoke fluent French; - naturally, I was better ??

Ripper, my friend Tony; we'll be back to eat and drink molto soon !

There is only one restaurant in my area that grows their own herbs and vegetables and we frequent them for that exact reason. The have the best heirloom tomatoes that I have ever tasted....

When I come to Adelaide we must visit Tony - my French is terrible but I will be eating and drinking too much to talk.....although HWDB reckons I can talk under wet concrete!!!!

Glad you have found the Peter ToRot story interesting - have scheduled the rest of the story for my posts during the week!!

See ya!!
