Fatso finds a great breakfast.
The ducks have been eaten by foxes, the horses and cows are pleased with the season's new grass, the sheep are grazing contentedly.
But Fatso loves to go exploring. Here, I caught him diving into the new and wonderful grass. He had found the newest worms of autumn in the vineyard behind the back paddock.

Lovely darling. The early bird always gets the worm! Fatso has babies in the nest to feed.

Est-ce que Fatso est un oiseau apprivoisé? Si je comprends bien ça va être bientôt l'hiver chez vous! Bonne fin de dimanche à vous, M. et Mme Benaut!

Hoorah for Fatso!
That's a gorgeous shot of the vines, Monsieur.

Yep.
It's only one month to the start of winter; June 1st; Marilyn Monroe's birthday.
At the moment we are having great days of sun and mild conditions. It was 22° today, (Sunday), with not a cloud in the sky.

Fatso is really quite tame, Marie. Some of the older magpies will hop up on your leg if you are sitting and offering them food. The younger ones are comfortable when you walk amongst them, and they walk amongst the cats too.

Nathalie, I can imagine how nice it is, there; au Printemps en la belle France.

Dive, old son, thanks. Sorry I have not been too visible, lately. I will rectify that, as soon as poss. !

Well; - they do look rather similar without glasses !!
Magpies just fly faster than penguins.

Ha ha Jules: here are the words to this delightful ditty.

"Worms"

Everybody hates me,
Nobody likes me,
Think I'll go eat worms.

Big fat juicy ones,
Little teeny weeny ones,
Watch them squiggle and squirm.

You bite their heads off,
Slurp their juice up,
Throw their skins away.

And nobody knows,
How well we thrive,
On Woooorrrrrmmmmssss,
Three times a day!
