Et un petit peu du français,,,

When people think about Adelaide, they think of freedom, friendship, fair-play and fantastic fun.
We feel flattered when friends find their way, albeit fleetingly to our fresh air, fine foods, forests, flowers and foam.
We're 'Fair-Dinkum'; I hope you will think so, too.

I'm very impressed at all meeting in the plein-air as often as you do. It's just lovely. How did you transport the furniture here?

Anyway i can't stay around to chat, today, as Mi..sorry, mY companion is .... in need of me...........

It was all on the houseboats that we rented for the weekend. It's / they're moored behind moi.

Bonne chance aujourd'hui, avec ton amoureux, ma chère.

The time differences throw me off; I am surprised to see your theme day here, but it's a great reminder for me. The conviviality of friends is the best kind of testimony for your city/country!

I guess that I posted just before midnight, thinking that I might get to bed before the usual 2 AM.
Somehow, it just never seems to happen.
I guess that all you northern hemispherians like to keep me up all night for the fun and games that seem to be what blogging is all about !!
Anyhow; what are you doing in Mazatlan. It's half past 5 in the morning !

I see shorts and jackets. So, which was it? Cool or balmy?

You are a very good ambassador, M. Benaut.

the people who create advertisements to entice people to your fair state seem to agree! Every ad I have seen from SA tourism features food, and happy people clinking glasses.

salute!

Didn't realise you were doing Theme Day as there was no mention - and also no list of everyone else - so here I am a bit late. Lovely lazy view - perfection by the river. Adelaide is such a gorgeous city - and as I said on Gordon's, with the Barossa just up the road!

Cheltenhamdailyphoto said...

Jilly i too am participating but like M. Benaut did not display the list until later. I'm not on the list either, (the Cheltenham one there is Marley who is also photographing the town) i'm technically challenged lol! Let's hope when Monsieur wakes up, he will add it. One day i shall master it all, i'm sure Monsieur will first.

M.Benaut said...

Actually, Lynn, it's so challenging that I just can't figure out how to do it either !
In fact I had thought of asking you, first.

So I just contribute when it's Theme Day, (sometimes) , and hope for the best.

Perhaps Michael holds one of the golden keys to theme day. He's a real wizard when he gets going.

Ohhhh .... is that my seat there next to the bottle on the ground?
Heck, I'd just like to see some ground for a change!
It looks like everyone had the usual grand time.
Cheers to all.

Hey Dennis - yes, that's your chair buddy, we kept it warm for you and the seat next to it, that's mine.
Maria, it was a cool day on the river. This shot was taken in spring 2005 (September) when we spent a few days on a houseboat.
Hi Ame! Sounds like you're enjoying your new diamonds ...
