Just Married

This young couple had just celebrated their Marriage under the Norfolk Island pines on the Holdfast Bay lawns, when I saw them walking towards the sun, setting over the shimmering water. The Surf Rescue girls and boys were packing it in for the day and the sea gulls were patiently waiting for a feed of anything thrown at them!

This is a beautiful picture. It embodies daily life in a way, because it has people buildings, and most importantly verandas. I love verandas I remember having tables with chairs and sitting out watching passers-by. The colors just seem complement each other from the blue sky to the green trees to the buildings.

I have always loved cities and city life. Given that you have "Surf Rescue" lifeguards I aassume the beach is within walking distance from where you took this picture.

Enjoy your week-end.

You know what I find great about this photo? (besides the obvious beauty) This place resembles a branch of Rio called Barra da Tijuca, which is a very nice part of the city and where the beach has a strong influence in the life of the local people. The buildings are very much like that, modern style, with varandas and all, and by the sidewalk one can always see relaxed people calmly going by in their swimsuits. Oh the good life!
