Look what happens when you ask for chopsticks !
One can often laugh when Australians attempt to eat with chopsticks.
My friend Leroi would have eaten a hot dinner, if he had been offered a spoon (or a shovel).
Me, I am naturally a fast eater. Why do you think that I took this photo?

lol. I'm a slow eater. I probably talk too much. Trouble is, i'm not comfortable once others have finished theirs, to then finish mine alone. I often end up leaving it rather than do that. My first husband was very polite and kind; he would always slow right down, so that we would finish more or less at the same time. I miss him sometimes! Where are you, George? lol....

Sometimes is OK.
He sounds like a gentleman.
I'm actually a slow eater too. I just had to take that shot while the going was good.
Hope you're on the mend, Lynn. I know these things take time, so don't rush things. Easy does it !!

I think one has to learn to eat with chopsticks at a young age. My eight year old daughter has no problem eating with chopsticks, has been doing it since she was three. Now, me? I usually end up wearing some of my food when I attempt to use chopsticks.

You think Australians are bad with chopsticks, Monsieur?
Joy told me a lovely story this week.
She was in our local Japanese restaurant and a loud party of Poms came in and proceeded to pick up their disposable chopsticks and NOT SEPARATE THEM! They just speared into their sushi with the chopsticks still stuck together!
Hee hee hee hee hee!
What a crappy country we are.

Dive,
At least that's better than using fingers ?
