The Boat Doctor carves the roast beef.
It's 7:30 PM and the boys have returned home from the river mouth. For dinner, we're having roast beef, in the garden. (Sometimes we forget that we are no longer British !)
It's not yet sunset, but the camera flash gives the impression of darkness.

I've not eaten roast beef in about thirty-five years. I think Aussies tend to be far more "British" than the British.

Dive, there's little difference between us and the Maltese, etc, etc.
The traditions of the mother country, die hard.
(God save the King !!!)

M. Benaut, how could you say such awful things about American beef? Have you tried French beef? Ok then, you know what I'm saying. If you have to beat an American steak with a hammer, then Australian beef must be incredible!

Michael, Aussi beef is indeed incredible and of course M.B failed to mention that I cooked it (well, the oven did)!
Lynn, we'll put on a special roast beef dinner for you when you're next visiting Adelaide. Not so impossible, you know. Oh, and Kate, you are welcome too.
