Le Tour Down Under.

The Tour Down Under day two.
It seems to me that my beautiful girlfriends in France, are sick of looking at other girls on ADP.
Therefore, I am happy to announce, that I have been looking at handsome men. Just for you.
Mickaël Buffaz, a Swiss professional road bicycle racer for UCI ProTeam, Cofidis is a very handsome man, 29 years old and with a strong physique. The boys from the Rabobank cycle team are half naked, but they are very proud; and hairy. That will appeal to French girls ?

Not only the French!

Is that you, above, turned broadcaster, M. Benaut?

M.Benaut said...

Yes, dear Lynn; to the first point, and,
No, dear Lynn to the latter.
Please forgive the error of my ways. I realized my serious omission when it was too late.
It won't happen again !

Hello...I have just popped in to tell Madame Benaut that I have a little something for her at my blog.

dive said...

Half-naked men in sweaty lycra with their "bits' flopping about?
And the word "woodhead" on their car.

Curse my schoolboy sense of humour.

M.Benaut said...

Thank you Marie,
It was a bit of an overkill, n'est-ce pas. You are correct.

As far as "le corps entièrement épilé!!!!", I will do my best to find one as soon as I can.

M.Benaut said...

Dive, old son; that is Adelaide's leading Architectural firm. No floppy bits there !

dive said...

Oh wow! I could NEVER answer the phone and say "Woodhead" with a straight face!

Cheltenhamdailyphoto said...

I could. lol. Some fun going on at Paree today M. Benaut. I've been a bit reckless and declared 'amour' omg i need a rein on my keyboard for goodness' sake. Eek. lol!

Michael Salone said...

LOL Dive. Yes Lynn, I thought that was Mr Benaut as aussi!

M.Benaut I know I'm a little late, but still I want to congratulate you for your one year blog anniversary!!!
Although I don't have the time to be here everyday as well as in many other delightful daily photo blogs, I fell in love with Mme. Benaut and you from the start!

Bon anniversaire! Mes meilleur voeux a ton blog et a vous, mes chèr amis dans la terre ci-dessous (pardon my french, next time maybe 'eu escrevo em Portugues'!)

Happy Australia Day M & Mme Benaut!! Have a good one.

So it seems you stirred up the ladies M et Mme. Now I can see you are trying to reel in your audience. Sure signs are appearing everywhere...

- Cute children
- Adorable animals
- Half-naked men

You've obviously been doing your demographic homework. Well done!

Thanks Mon. We love you too.
Gypsy, Happy Australia Day to you too. M.B is at Goolwa celebrating and I went down for dinner last night - hence absence from the little screen for a while.
Maria - those outfits leave very little to the imagination, don't they?
Michael - M.B aims to please, always!
Lynn - I don't know what a woodhead is either! I've been trying to think of associations, perhaps like woody woodpecker, the cartoon character, ....pecker - I think you get the drift.
As for your declared love for M. Eric - why that's not so much of a secret, dear. We've suspected this for a long time now. Careful though, you might make Clo. jealous, Baroness.

Cheltenhamdailyphoto said...

he he Mme! Then my secret is out! I noticed Clo did not say hello to me at Paris the other day after i'd said that. Only to Monica. Oops...

So i'm here to keep you co. whilst your man is away. What shall we do, watch a DVD? talk, chatter into the night? Put face packs on and look silly? Have a big pile of ice cream? Go to the theatre? A quiet walk on the beach? Laze on the beach and read our books? The choice is yours. Doh! You're probably asleep right now aren't you.... ! Choose when you wake. x

I'm not asleep dear Lynn. I'm watching the men's finals of the Australian Open Tennis Grand Slam. Novak Djokovich looks unbeatable! Fascinating game. So quiet on the home front. Rather peaceful really. M.B is having so much fun at the beach, he may never return. In which case, i shall have to learn how to do a post! lol
As for what we shall get up to - I don't know?? That quiet walk sounds nice - around my garden perhaps. If you click on "maison" or "hills" you might see some pics. I don't think Clo. visits here much these days but next time you're chatting, tell him that I need him to look after me while M.B is away. Or perhaps Rob? Michael? Eric? Anyone?

Anonymous said...

Yep. Djokovic was unbeatable. He just won the Australian Open. He's only 20 years old. Well done, young man.

Cheltenhamdailyphoto said...

Yes well done him. I shall indeed pass your plea on to the men lol. So a walk around the garden it is. I wish i could make it real.

Monica said...

Oh no Mme.Benaut you too!!!

I think we'll drive those poor men crazy, how are they ever gonna be able to satisfy all of our needs... I mean, let's face it, dealing with Lynn is challenge enough, and of course there's me and now you too! Will Eric, Michael, Clo etc ever take the challenge or will they leave us to our own devices???

Cheltenhamdailyphoto said...

Good question Monica. Shall we find ourselves left to our feminine devices, never to be looked after, attended to and cherished by men again, simply due to our over zealous demands? Answers please, dear men friends of ours and please may they be good.

Anonymous said...

Don't panic Monica. i'm expecting to see HRH sometime tomorrow perhaps or if not then, by Tuesday morning. I was just hoping for a bit of, er, male company but as always, it is the girls who stick together!! My little boy cat is not letting me out of his sight and he's a gem - you've met him - Felix! Sascha snuggles me under the covers and Kittypuss and Lillipilli are always around. I have a new stray cat too - not sure if it's a he or she yet because the little rabbit bites me if I get too close. I've called him/her "Snuffly" because the little thing seems to have the sniffles. Very cute - looks like a Norwegian Forest Cat - very fluffy tail. Charcoal on the upper side and white underneath with white paws. Will try to get a photo as soon as M.B returns with the camera.

Michael Salone said...

Who on earth would be brave enough to jump into the fray? "...left to (y)our feminine devices" seems a bit risky to me...and I won't even mention the double entendre.

So, as I'm sure M Benaut will want to be sure Mme is kept safe and sound, I'm popping in from time to time to be sure no mean men make matters more mischievous!

Thanks for the water cooler info. I'll baffle them with bull.... tomorrow!

Monica said...

hmmm so Mme.Benaut is in good hands, or paws I should say. Surrounded by cats keeping her company while M.Benaut is away.

Now, what about you and me Lynn? We're still in need of a brave knight to come to our rescue. Funny..don't know why I often get the feeling Eric and Michael are frightened... is it something we said?!
:-)

Michael Salone said...

Oh Monica, if you weren't so quick with the fingers you would have seen that I was here and gone before you left your message. Afraid? Of course not. Cautious? Ok, maybe a little bit. A woman with a chocolate craving is not the safest of company to be in!

Monica said...

ahhh but that's where you're wrong Michael, just imagine the advantage one could take of a woman with a chocolate craving that has revealed she'll do anything for a bar or two...

Cheltenhamdailyphoto said...

Indeed, Monica. I do believe, though a little nervous, Michael is here to keep an eye on us too though lol !! In the meantime, let's share out some choc, us girls, we can munch while watching Sex & The City DVDs? Great fun! Wait til M. Benaut gets home and finds our choc wrappers all over the place and our chocolatey faces!

Anonymous said...

Oh what a giggle. You all make me laugh and it is nice to wake up and find that you've been looking after me while I slept. There are a few chocolate wrappers lying around the place, I confess Lynn. Thank you Michael for watching out for all of us. Very brave of you indeed.

Monica said...

Funny Mme.Benaut, I have a few wrappers lying around too, remains of the weekend.

Lynn, did you know that Sex and the city, the movie, will be released in May?
The 3 of us should go see it together. Just imagine watching Mr. Big on that big screen...

Anonymous said...

Girls - I have to confess that I didn't watch that show apart from one or two episodes. I don't think I could sit through the movie, Monica.

Michael Salone said...

LOL Mme Benaut. I'll take care of you then while they're at the cinema. I didn't watch it much either.

On another note Mme, given that you and the mister travel way more than any normal human being should, do you have recommendations for Bali by chance? I'll be in Singapore on business in early February and am thinking of tagging on a week of sun in Bali. Not into the partying that goes on there, just hot sun, beach, some culture...you know...boring stuff.

Anonymous said...

Thank you dear Michael. You will all be pleased to know however that M.B will be home in about an hour's time so you can expect a post tonight from the hundreds of photos he has no doubt taken over the last few days.
Michael - Bali is a beautiful place to catch a few days in the sun. We went there for our honeymoon (albeit 6 months after the wedding!) Will send you an email separately with lots of detail in it. Mind you, if you are only 9 hours from Adelaide, you should fly here and stay with us for a few days ... we can guarantee you sunshine in February and high temperatures without Bali's humidity and thunderstorms this time of year. You can stroll in my garden and then M.B can take you to the beach and when you've had enough of that, I'll cook you delicious dinners and M.B will cook you delicious BBQs and you can eat all the summer fruits that you can. Then we'll find you a quiet place for you to read or snooze. And, if you are very lucky, I will introduce you to my little sister!! lol

Anonymous said...

Michael - I forgot to mention the culture aspect. Balinese are Hindu, not Muslim, in the majority. They are gentle, lovely people generally. BUT we could immerse you in some of our culture and you can watch our Bali videos and see hundreds of photos that we took and we will fill in the gaps for you.
You can fly into Adelaide direct from Singapore and we will collect you from the airport. Oh, what fun. Wait til I tell M.B!!

Ah, now this looks promising. Hairy sweaty men - I knew I was missing something from my life...

Seriously tho, nice photos that really capture the great atmosphere of the day.

The Tour de France is going thru Monaco this year (first time ever) so should be exciting.
