(how are you coping with my French, m.benaut? Lots of technical words in there...)

Just great, Nathalie; and I really do appreciate the chance to read your French - any opportunity I can get !

Nathalie said that she adores woodwork workshops; and that she is enthralled by the odour of the wood, the assembling of the pieces and the tools !

It reminds her of the time she and her husband built a boat. They designed and carried out the interior fittings.

She learned to use a jigsaw, a bevel square and electric plane and loves the do-it-yourself approach.

When she settled in Avignon, Nathalie installed her own kitchen. "I am very proud of myself".

I know because I have seen and admired it.

And; I am so impressed and proud of her.

Excellente traduction, mon ami!

Thanks to you I now know that une fausse équerre is a bevel square. Now that's a new word for me!!!

Merci.

Going back to street names in France, I couldn't help but be amazed by the uncreative ones I encountered in Australia :
I first lived in Killarney Street in Killarney Vale.
My second home was in Shelly beach Road in Shelly beach.
No kidding, it's true LOL!!!
