En route pour Chinon

The morning sun was happy to see us under its radiance.
Et nous étions d'accord avec lui.
We 'stepped' on it and made shadows in acknowledgement.
And they agreed with us.
Langeais was drawing closer and so was Chinon.

The silver car stopped itself outside "Les Dessous du Château", just as any well-bred French car would do.
The pretty French girls in the window noticed, but only whispered.
It didn't matter; I knew what they were thinking.
There's a lot to learn in France and always, a glance is worth a thousand words.

With thoughts of the now-known, unknown, fixed inside, it was time for café, croissants and châteaux. Not hard to find.

We had arrived in pretty Langeais - in the Indre-et-Loire département.
The massive and historic, fifteenth century Château de Langeais, awaited us.

Je pense que le magasin doit s'appeler "les dessous du château". C'est un joli nom !

J'aime bien le passage interdit au public, je suis sûre que comme moi ça t'a donné envie d'y aller.
