Château-du-Loir et ses environs
We had been so excellently looked-after at the Duffour Brothers that morning.
We dashed back to Claude and Philippe's for a quick, tasty lunch before setting out to see more of the sights.
Chateau-de-la Motte, was my first sighting of the typically wonderful French Chateaux.
Then on to some small surrounding villages, before visiting the river Loir and the centre-ville with its typical Mairie or Town Hall.
One could not help thinking that, here was too much beauty.
Everywhere the eye turned, there was architecture, so old; pretty granges (barns), lovely old bridges acquainting themselves with their former reflections and memories of historical events.
