Mercredi soir, ma caméra a dormi à l'hôtel, (appareil-photo vilain !)
On Wednesday night, my camera slept at the hotel. It stupidly forgot to remind me to take it home. I collected it on Thursday lunch time and to my surprise, I was greeted by this wonderful 'Altocumulus Mackerel' cloud formation.
There is an old saying, "Mackerel Sky, Mackerel Sky. Never long wet - and never long dry."

Merveilleux ciel!
uau! a emotional picture.
Marvellous shot! Palm trees against the clouds are spectacular.
An unusual September theme photo...you forgot? This photo, however, is beautiful!
Glad you got the camera back.
Wow - nice sky - I have never heard of this saying!!!! Is it Australian???
Is it already September 1 in Adelaide? Here it is still August 31 for 45 minutes :-))
I had never heard of those clouds.... Very funny. I found the reason why they are called that way on Wikipedia :-))
Very beautiful photo!
So this would be your eco street sign/light...
They are beautiful clouds ya...
Palm trees and blue skies are my kind of theme day photo...no matter what the others say! I see this as "a sign" to do something wonderfully good today!
Oh I love these clouds! :) They're usually a sign of good weather to come in Norway as well. :)
Greetings from
Oslo Daily Photo
That is a spectacular sky photo! :)
