Au revoir, l'Australie. Bonjour Île de Kangourou


À l'extrémité du sud de la Péninsule de Fleurieu, est la petite port, appelée Cap Jervis.
Le Samedi, notre bac est parti de ce port et a voyagé 11 miles à travers le "Backstairs Passage". ( Le passage des escaliers arrière).
Ici, vous pouvez voir le bateau arriver à Penneshaw et la maison, où nous sommes restés; derrière l'homme avec les cheveux blancs.
At the southern end of Fleurieu Peninsula, is the little port called Cape Jervis.
On Saturday, our ferry departed from this port and travelled the 11 miles across "Backstairs Passage".
Here, you can see the ship arriving in Penneshaw and the holiday house where we stayed; behind the man with the white hair.

Looks like you had a fine weekend. There's a river ferry about an hour from here. I haven't ridden it though.

Oui, Marie,
C'est vrai.
The air smells like the warm sea and one sleeps at night like a "hollow log". The climate is temperate; and the air, clean.
On the ferry, one hears many languages spoken, mais aucun Français, ce week-end. J'étais désolé.
I will continue to show you the 'île du kangourou.

So glad you had a relaxing weekend. Looks like a great spot - but where are the palm trees???

Did you pack lots of bia in your bilum????
