La Reine Victoria a aimé son verre de vin

La Vallée de Piccadilly était toujours un centre du maraîchage, produisant des produits alimentaires pour la consommation locale et à l'étranger.

Une grande partie de la vallée est maintenant utilisée pour croître, prime, climat frais, variétés de raisin.

C'est également une principale région de vin en l'Australie et une des plus vieille.
Ses vallées offrent chaque aspect imaginable, avec la grande variation climatique.

Après que des vignes aient été plantées la première fois dans les collines en 1839, trois ans après que l'Australie du sud a été fondée, une caisse de ce vin a été envoyée à la Reine Victoria en 1844.

Avec plus de 50 établissements vinicoles dans la région de collines, on a pu être rarement vu !

Queen Victoria probably never touched a drop !! Piccadilly Valley has always been a market gardening centre, producing food for local and overseas consumption. Much of the valley is now used for growing premium cool climate grape varieties. It's also a leading wine region in Australia and one of the oldest. Its valleys offer every conceivable aspect, with great climatic variation. After vines were first planted in the Hills in 1839, three years after South Australia was founded, a case of that wine was sent to Queen Victoria in 1844. With over 50 wineries in the Hills region, one could be seldom seen !!

Un petit rayon de soleil

Hier, mes amis au sud de la France se plaignaient du temps mauvais ou se prenaient une chute dans les conditions hivernales.
Nous avons eu des inondations et des tempêtes ce week-end, aussi.
Pourtant je voudrais vous offrir de la lumière du soleil brillante et quelques couleurs audacieuses des "Appartements Aériens"; qui donnent sur les larges parcs d'Adelaïde.

C'est sans doute le plus fort à Villers Bretonneux.
Le logo utilisé sur leur site Internet officiel, comprend d'un kangourou stylisé des lettres VB.

Depuis les quelques marches à l'angle d'un mur signalant le Cimetière Adélaïde, on aperçoit la croix de pierre au bout du sentier.
