Australia Day at the beach
It's 7 O'clock, Monday evening, and the weary traveller has returned. While I have been away everybody has been taking care of Mme, and there are many wonderful comments. Thank you. I will visit all your blogs as soon as I can.
Australia Day is celebrated each year on the 26 January, and my friends and I celebrate at Goolwa, at the mouth of the river Murray, where it flows out into Encounter Bay. In the coming days you'll see more of this spot I love.

That looks very much like the Norfolk coast near my house, Monsieur … er … except for the blue sky and the blue sea.

No crowds for you on Ausreya Day! What a spot!

My husband drove all around Australia on a motorbike in the mid seventies. Many of his photos show landscapes as empty as this!

And thanks for the photos of the handsome and fit young men you posted yesterday.

And then you fled? Glad mrs.b. had a bunch of nice girls (+ Michael, sorry Michael) to keep her company!
