The Benaut Renault. (Quelques leçons en langue française pour des Américains à Paris.)

Aujourd'hui, nous pratiquerons l'épellation de "Benaut" et de "Renault". Ils peuvent rimer, Michael, mais l'épellation est la chose !!!
Here is my littlest daughter in the Benno-Renno, (a dear old family hand-me-down.)

A real charm to go out in such a cute car. Benno has a cheerful color too.
What´s the name of your youngest daughter again?

Hello littlest daughter. Benaut Renault i always assumed this was the pronounced like that. Is that not 'right' then Michael?

Hello little daughter...

What kind of car is that? I have never seen a model like that.

It sure must be nice to be wearing short sleeves.

The photo for Adelaide on the portal is a deux Chevaux...which doesn't rhyme with benaut at all.

This my dear friends is the official mascot of the future TGV in Adelaide. The Benno-Renno is a code name we're using while the real Benaults are out wining and dining government officials.

Regarding your question on yesterday's post, here is a link from Reuters on the actual record-breaking TGV run.

Hey is that Rolf Harris in the background? Wow i'm impressed.

Lynn, is Rolf Harris the guy on BBC who paints and pets puppies? Other than those shows, I can tell you that the BBC channels we get over here in Paris are either "buy a house", "fix a house", "buy & fix a house", "buy a house somewhere else", "tear up the garden and re-do it", "take your animal to the vets", "paint a painting", "paint a painting of your pet"....I could go on and on...

Yikes, MB! A Renault 12. I used to have one of those in the seventies. I've not seen one since. Cool!

Yes Michael that seems to all that's on our screens. Those and reality stuff watching people sleep (though i do get sucked into some of those) Yep that's Rolf. He was the one who first inspired me to paint when i was little. That i admire him for so much, his style, confidence and finished result of his art. Not so much the petting puppies though. Doesn't turn me on much to see poor, ill animals on the vet's table just as i'm eating my dinner.

My favourite programme is The Apprentice (originally from USA with Donald Trump) Ours is headed by the wonderful, sexy-in-an-unusual-way Sir Alan Sugar. mmm. What is it about him? It's not his wealth; though that would be great, i'm not so impressed by that. Looks? Well millions would be surprised as he has a craggy, worn-in face, but yes it's that for me quite a bit. Power? A little. It's the confidence i think, the straight-talking no-nonsense approach. I reckon he's a dependable, family man and i love that twinkle in his eye. Do you get the impression i'm smitten? I am, really. Watch it! He's on tonight, 9 o'clock i think if you can get it.

We don't get the new shows over here, but I do get the American version of Apprentice on video from my friend Metaphysicalmama! She's so great about sending me videos and that's one I really look forward to.
