Autumn in the Adelaide Hills.
As the season progresses towards winter, the Pin Oaks, in the background, are one of the first to lose their leaves and to announce the fall. However, I noticed this fact when taking this photo. Today, the workers were dismantling another bridge in my road. Soon, I will be sleeping in the car !

Another bridge gone? You'll be islanded at this rate. We'll have to helicopter in cat food, beer and breakfast cocktails at the double.

Yikes! Autumn colours already, and we've not got rid of our frosts yet back in Blighty.
Are they rebuilding all the bridges in case you get Lynn's floods this year?

WOW, Lynn, coming from one who has been rescued by helicopter so many times during the Tewkesbury floods, mmmh, I'll order the breakfast cocktails and beer, in bed, naturellement.
Yep, they're doing just that, Dive. And; - I would love to see a flood. The last one was in 1956 !

I can't believe it either. You can just see the Aldgate Pump Hotel in the distance. This is not our actual road but one of the roads we take to get to the main road. Fortunately the entrance to the supermarket doesn't seem to be affected but my hairdresser's building is just on the right.
Good idea to do something about the bridges though. Just in case the good Lord sends us some rain!

It's been a while since I last posted a comment on your blog. Sorry for this lack of messages. I hope everything is going well in Adelaide.

Gosh what is wrong with all your bridges that they want to pull them all down???? Are they trying to stop you coming into town with your camera???

You can come and stay with me - our bridges are still standing - well last time I looked anyhow!!!

PS What does souhaite mean - HWDB guessed it was French for "lush" ??

Jules: it means to wish - best wishes etc.

Hello !
