Dear Family and Friends

Today our Dear Mother's life was celebrated as she took her next journey. We will remember her beauty and her love for us all.

Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints.

I have just arrived home after a most enjoyable night at m.benaut's home reminiscing old times following a day of celebrating and farewelling his gracious mother.
The day had all the usual emotions but I am sure was made so much richer by the loverly words of comfort received by m.benaut from all his great friends on this wed site. We may come from all corners of the world but our compasion for each other is undeniable, you are indeed loverly people.

I certainly do hope that having your loved ones with you made this day a little easier and filled with good memories. I can not express how much I "appreciate" what you have been through and will continue to experience in the months ahead. May they be filled mostly with happy memories which overpower your grief. It sounds as though you have many wonderful people around you, which must bring you some comfort.

Lovely thing to say Rob, it must have been wonderful to have you there. I do hope that M. et Mme are feeling, well, alright, shall we say this evening. They will not of course be feeling good, but every day, little by little... thinking of you both x

Thinking of you both too and glad to know that you're surrounded by loving people.
May your heart be in peace.

She watches over us,
Perched like a bird
On a bare-limbed tree.
Her silhouette and spirit
Reach out,
Beyond the moon, the stars
And the sea.

Nice Pa, That's the way of the world hey? But not everythings lost when the body is lost. We've all got a part of nana in us and will for a long time to come.

Little Sweetie,
Everyone asked after you and they really felt like you were there.
I am planning to be up your way in September to tell you all the details.
But we can share memories always.
Thank you so much for your lovely thoughts and the phone call after the service.
PS Keep driving les Renaults !!!

Cher Monsieur Benaut:

I am sorry for your loss and for your sadness.

Losing a parent is hard and I share in your sorrow.

I only hope that memories of your mother will always bring happiness and joy to your wounded spirit, and will always put a smile on your face, as you fondly remember your youth, and adulthood with her, for like all mothers she protected you and gave you love whenever you needed it even in times when you tried her patience.

Your words, not as long and wounded as mine, show your appreciation to a loving woman whom you called "mother," a word that carries so much meaning to many of us.

You, Madame Benaut, and the rest of your family are in my thoughts.

Somehow I missed this important period of your life. I offer my sincere sympathy.

Clovis,
Your kind and thoughtful words were a great comfort and I thank you sincerely for your sentiments of condolence.
Kate,
Thank you so much for sending us those kind wishes.
We are now doing the things that would have made Mother proud; that is, a new little person has come into the world and William will now hear of his Great Grandma.

It seems it won't never happen because our parent are part of us. When they leave, they take away a little part of us. I'm sorry not to be able to say in English what I feel but I'd like to let you know that even at the other side of the world, I'm near to you.

Fabrizio, thank you for your very kind and thoughtful condolences. It means a great deal to our family to hear and feel the support you are giving us. We are all most grateful. I certainly know how difficult it can be to express deep emotions in a second language. Thank you.
