It was last Saturday night. The air was calm, warm and it smelled like flowers and leaves that were falling.
The first guests, arrived on time. Somebody sliced some onions, naturally, and then one could hear steaks and sausages sizzling. Very soon, the sound was like children squeaking, happily, and there were more sounds, just like glasses rattling. Within the space of one hour, sixty Australians, Frenchmen, Italians and even a few British, were talking a combination of French and everything else, and it was time to set fire to the pile of branches and wood.

What a great night M B. Hope you are feeling better. Denis's terrible news has just left me so sad.

Congrats again MB. Sounds like you celebrated in style. Your post yesterday moved me immensely - I had seen Denis's comment on your blog a few days earlier... what a tragedy. My thoughts are with him and those close to the family.

May I add something at the excellent Ulisse'ideas?
(By the way:St Guilhem established the monastery of Gellone in 806.A part of the closter is now in the Closters Mueseum of Manhattan!!!)
Surrounding the"Pic St Loup",very near Montpellier, you could visit many beautiful Medieval villages: les Matelles,Cazevielle,ND de Londres,Claret, Loret,Corconne,St Jean de Cuculle...ect..(tous ces endroits rivalisent de vieilles pierres et de fleurs). Then let go on, by Gange, to Valleraugue,Esperou,Mt Aigoual(Les Cevennes). You need:one day.

You let Poms into your party?
Were you drunk or were they to be tied to stakes and stuck on top of the bonfire?
