Ozzies love to put a leg up, especially at the dinner table on a footpath cafe in O'Connell St. North Adelaide. Naturally, they wouldn't put their leg on the table, unless it was a very important occasion !

(Today, Madame went to the hospital to have some repairs made to her foot. In this photo, the anaesthetic, was making her feel, extremely happy) !

Oh, no!
Get well soon, Mme! You'll need that kicking foot to keep Monsieur under control.

J'espère que cela va aller mieux bientôt pour Madame, qui, sur cette photo, a un pied blanc et un pied rose !

Hee Hee Dive! Too right old son (as M.B would say). Well it's the wee small hours and the anaesthetic has well and truly worn off and I've struggled up the stairs, careful not to leave a trail of blood dripping behind me. One is supposed to elevate the foot above the heart for the first couple of days. Now that's a bit of a stretch for me particularly since I'm sleeping on the couch. "Ouch" for the foot and "ouch" for the couch. Damn arthritis! Should be back to two pink feet (as opposed to the two pink chins in this photo) again just in time for Christmas.
Oh and the Archer Burger was not all that good, I have to say.

That looks a very nice place to sit - sorry the burger wasn't so good. Hopefully the wine was OK - ah, perhaps you couldn't have wine after the anaesthetic!

Trust the foot heals soon.

I wish your foot to heal quickly and cleanly. :> $10.00 for a good plate of food, Yippee! Eating is one of those great pleasures in life.
Take Care,
P

Mme, are you one of those amazing women who can wear all white without managing to spill anything on yourself?

I'm in awe.

M B is this a result of dancing lessons? Have you been stomping on mme b's foot?

Hope you are feeling ok mme b and you will be back dancing soon.

Looks like you have had rain to cool the air?

Ah, the joy of really good painkillers is a wonderful, wonderful thing...

Get well soon!

Thank you everyone for your get well messages.

Jilly: oh would that I could! Can't drink wine unfortunately - results in an instant headache - allergic to the sulphur dioxide they put in it. I do have some rather strong painkillers but even they don't fully address this particular pain. I guess that all surgery involving bones is painful and there is nothing to do other than to grin and bear it.
Proxima: Thank you dear - quick and clean is what I am hoping for and yes $10 is cheap but in all honesty, it is more than that particular burger was worth. It certainly wasn't a 100% all beef pattie.
Lynn: Thank you dear - all blessings welcome.
Terroni: I hadn't actually eaten yet when M.B took the photo. I don't think I spilled anything though. Hard to remember with the fog that is my brain at the moment.
Julie: No dear, not dancing, just a bad case of arthritis that needed fixing so I can walk a little better. It has sprinkled a few drops but not what I would call rain. It is much cooler today though.

Thank you Maria! Oxycodone - never had it before but hoeing in at the moment. They only gave me 15 tabs though ... they're not going to last long. I thought they'd knock me over but I haven't slept a wink since yesterday afternoon under the anaesthetic. Going for a little nap now ...
