Overlooking the roofs of Avignon.

On arriving at Nathalie's lovely home we could see practically the whole of France from her rooftop patio.

Its outlook in such a devine location was absolutely stunning.

The panorama of terra cotta roofs partially obscured the towers of the Palais des Papes to the North West but the beautifully illuminated Clocher en Pointe de l'Hôtel de Ville, (the Town Hall Spire), was easy to pick out, silhouetted against the warm and clear night sky.

Great shot, Monsieur! I'm very interested in views from windows - or rooftops in this case. Make great photos.

The graffiti on the first photo (Big Brother eyes) has now been painted over so your photo is the only record we have of it. I'm so glad you took it, it's such a fun shot!!!

That's a great Theme day theme, Lynn.
Have we had that one yet ?

Nathalie,
It's sometimes a shame when certain graffiti is painted out.
It's worse when one may not get the opportunity of seeing a nice ankle, also.

Franchement mettre deux aussi jolies dames près d'une interdiction de dépôt d'immondices c'est de l'humour presque noir :-)))

J'aime beaucoup Avignon.....

Marie, je crois que c'est de l'humour typiquement Aussie. J'adore!
