Quelques roches chanceuses

Lucky rocks.
Even though the weather is foul, the sun sometimes pops out for a minute or two.
People rush to Glenelg beach and fossick around. They love to collect shells and rocks because naturally the right rock will bring good luck.
I bet you've got a house full of these?

A houseful of cold, damp Australians in hoodies and silly trousers?
Hang on …

… Nope. I've searched every room.
Where can I get me some?

I have lots of small stones on my windowsills which I've brought home from my favorite childhood beach in Wisconsin. Makes me smile when I look at them. It's an interesting way to keep memories alive from a faraway place.

Welcome to Adelaide, webradio and thanks for your nice comment.

Kate that is so true. Some of us bring back all sorts of small souvenirs from places we have enjoyed.

I have rocks from every state in the U.S.A. I have rocks from your neck of the woods and Spain, France and even Africa.

I am missing a rock from Sweden. So...feel free to send one.

I too collect rocks from my ttravels - how embarrassing.

BTW: Every tried to find a rock in China - bet ya can't - a wild one that is - not off an historical building or garden!!!!

See you soon !
