Le doigt de l'amitié

Ce doigt vous guidera jusque "chez nous"
Bientôt il nous dirigera vers la France.
Cependant, si vous nous rendez une visite, il vous dira seulement : "Soyez les bienvenus".

We're off to France real soon, so if you see the Aussie finger one day, it simply means, "You're Always Welcome"!

C4est bizarre cette pancarte. Qu'indique-t-elle ? Je n'en ai jamais vu de comme ça au bord de la route.

Aussie roads look like the French ones.Except the trees but the same way will take you and Mme.Benaut to home !

Although this is a delightful photo, the road makes me nervous because I'm sure the car coming at me will be on the opposite side of what I'm used to! I don't know if I could ever rent a car in Australia. The sign is very amusing; if I saw it I would have no idea what on earth it meant. Is it really called the Aussie finger, or are you just pulling our legs?

Ah M.B, I see you're driving me around the bend. I sincerely hope you turn this into a series.

M B - If you see someone coming you don't like do you run out and flip the sign so the digit is pointing UP ????

Il ne faut pas avoir trop bu de vin australien avant de venir chez vous, mais pour retourner ça ira mieux la route suivra la mienne et en plus on roule à gauche!!!!

Lovely photo! I tend to look for roads like this a lot.

Re: Macs. . . .I agree with you completely. I had to use PCs for business when I owned my store and HATED them. I'm so happy to be back to Mac. .

Are you visiting France or moving?
