Schnauzers, Chooks, Helicopters and Kangas.
Here's Oscar, the Schnauzer of Signor Lanciatore with his owner's new toy, a very expensive remote control, electric, helicopter.
It has taken 'il Signor' weeks to assemble it (perfectly) but he is yet to fly it.
As you can see, Oscar is more interested in his plastic chook, as you would if you were a dog on Kangaroo Island.

I am sure the dog would love to play with something there on the table. It sure makes an interesting photo. It took me a while to figure out that it was a dog.

He thought he is an engineer.

I wonder if Oscar will start chasing it once it's airborne. That'll be fun to watch!

Signor Lanciatore, having built the hélicoptère, must now learn to fly it !!

Perhaps Herr Schaussengraben will photograph his inaugural flight ?

Danke schön mein Herr !! Ich bin jetzt ein deutscher Klempner?

Ah, clever dog. I've got two miniature schnauzers here right now - in fact you'll meet them in September cos they'll still be here. Rambo and Rolf (named after your very own Aussie Rolf Harris, of course) - is this boy a miniature?

I just read your three comments. Too funny! Thanks Monsieur Benaut!

Dunno if he's a miniature, Jilly but Herr Schaussengraben will be sure to see this and hopefully respond ?

For those gentlemen who like all shades of pink, just click on Jilly's link above. She has excellent taste !!!

A remote controlled rubber chicken … Now that would be fun!

What does Oscar make of real chooks?

The chicken looks a little unwell M B - I think he has been well and truly Schnauzered!!

Bergson said...

I was about to write exactly the same thing as Bergson. It's best that the dog takes interest in the chook. I doubt Il Signore would have enjoyed seeing Oscar take his helicopter as a munching toy.

And oh, good luck for the inaugural flight!

BTW what's going on at Qantas, the ariline with the highest safety record? What's this spate of mechanical incidents?

Back from holidays I really enjoyed catching up with your latest posts.
You've lived in the dog house for a while? Glad it's over now. It's important to keep Madame happy.

Mikael's red eyes were a treat LOL

I have checked with Herr Schaussengraben...
Oscar is a one year old Standard Schnauzer.
Being all black he is quite hard to photograph as all that black hides his features.
Here he is shown front on, with his left ear folded back, intently looking at his plastic chook only.
Signor Lanciatore would have put the chook there to get Oscar to pose with his helicopter.
His interest might change when that flying machine gets airborne!!

Signor Lanciatore said if you type 'TRex 500' in YouTube you will see how these model helicopters fly... it is quite amazing!!
Signor Lanciatore has a computer flight simuator for this helicopter to hone his skills required to fly it.
I'm sure we will hear when he decides to 'take the plunge'.
