When one is married, the bride and the groom select some children to assist in the ceremony. In the English system, the little boy is called a page boy and the little girl is called a flower girl.

Very pretty! I thought that what you call a flower girl is called a bridesmaid in England. Perhaps those are the older females?!
Looks like little house in the prairie. I like it
By the way, Htochkiss is a French car factory. Its emblem is made with two canons crossed in a circle, because it was also a weapons factory, at the beginning of the XXth century.
And a lot of French men used a Hotchkiss during their military service : Hotchkiss used to build Willys Jeep under licence from 1946 to 1966
cute shot, very innocent. Here in the US, the girl is still the flower girl, but the boy is the ring bearer (he carries the rings on a pillow)
Ah such a sweet photo is this, M. Benaut. What pretty dresses and the boys look so smart.
They are so cute aren't they?
We call them flower girls and page boys in Singapore too.
Yup, it's page boys and bridesmaids over here, the older bridesmaid being maid of honour.
One day I might post photos of my traumatic experience as a page boy … but then again I might not.
elles sont mignonne les demoiselles d'honneur
Sweet picture in wich we can feel hapinness.
