Theme day: Water ???
The Australian Government has officially banned water.
Water will, no longer be permitted to be eaten or drunk; captured, stored or used. There is none, falling from the sky and bridges can now, all be demolished. Here is the bridge in our street that is being removed !

énorme poisson je commençais à y croire!!!
Water is a precious commodity, and I am pleased that we are celebrating it in our own way. The photo is a sad one because water is absent!
Ah, the little bridge you were telling us about the other day.
I suppose taking down bridges is as good as doing a rain dance; you know that as soon as you remove it the creek will fill up and you'll be stuck.
I've heard there are plans to evacuate the whole population of Australia overseas in about fifty years time because there will no water left at all.
That's why John Howard couldn't be bothered about opening the gates of immigration. It'll only mean more people to take care of when the crunch comes and you have to move. Enjoy the few drops you've got left, m.benaut, soon you will only have beer, wine or imported Evian to drink!
Avignon's resident pelican sends his greetings to you, I'll take you say hello to him when you come and visit.
Happy April Fool's Day everyone! Though it is true that this creek is dry and the dams are low, it has rained this week and we are expecting more rain today. There are a few drops falling right now. Not quite enough to drink though:)
Ah, I'd have expected no less from you than a Poisson d'Avril! Glad tho to know it's raining, Mme Benaut. Such a pretty bridge that once was.
We have so much rain lately in Nebraska that I should ship it out to you.
There is always rain in my rain barrel. When I was a girl, we used rain water to water out inside plants and to use to rinse our hair after shampooing. Now, of course, the pollution would make it not a good idea....
All we need to do is tilt Earth temporarily nad have all the excess water from some parts flow to the depraved, errr deprived.
Oops! sorry, I am missing my article "une" in my sentence. So, I should have written:
he he !! Not allowed to drink water huh. good one. I am sad for the removal of this bridge. Are you?
......and nothing but the truth.
Actually, it's being re-built to provide 2 lanes rather than just one.
(Comme M. Dive; I just love climbing around such things.)
