Je le sais très très bien ! Suite

While the interior of the Cathédrale, tomorrow, was easier to photograph, the exterior was limited as the surrounding trees were so close.

But don't think this is near the end of the day, - the game had only just started.

There are bigger fishes to catch. The South of France really has something for everyone and you're quite likely to see 'everyone', right here.

m.benaut, thanks for your visit in Avignon: no doubt you would have loved the Côtes du Rhone Primeur event!

I only tasted one of the wines, a fantastic rosé which won the golden medal, but no doubt I would have done much more with you!

The place de l'horloge has changed a lot since you were there in summer. The fixed awnings were removed from the terrace cafes to make room for the wooden booths that were used today for the wine tasting but which will also host the Christmas market due to open on 01 December.

Luckily there was no mistral on Thursday, so the evening was actually very pleasant. It's over the weekend that it got really bad.

This morning I woke up to thick fog. No views from my window for now!

And now to your photos, aren't they gorgeous?

Deep blue skies are something that southern France and Australia have in common. None of that here today, but they're never far.

In your second photo, interesting to see that the bottom of the wall is obviously much older than the top part - it doesn't even appear to be the same type of stone.

I love the church bell in your third photo (very typical of the region) and the elegant symmetrical composition of the fourth.

m.benaut, it looks like you're not far from Avignon now and you'll soon get to it. Unfortunately as from tomorrow I will be away for a few days with very limited access to the internet so I fear I may not be able to come and visit your blog during that time. What poor timing! Of course I'm dying to see your photos of Avignon. I'll catch up with you whenever I can!

Ne vous inquiétez pas, Nathalie.
J'ai l'abondance des photos à Montpellier et demain nous arriverons à Sète, une petite ville très belle de pêche.

Je crois que vous aimerez les photos du restaurant et du port où Marie nous a pris.

Ah ! ...et la ville de Palavas-les-Flots.

Beautiful photos, Monsieur. And it is so lovely to see the south of France while I'm sitting here in the snow.

Now that's good news, thanks!
On to Sète and Palavas then!
