Mes Loriquets arc-en-ciel

My Rainbow Lorikeets
At this time of the year, not just the colours of Christmas, but the colours of Summer are to be seen everywhere.
These Rainbow lorikeets in the garden, would look beautiful on the Christmas Tree, but alas they will not stand still long enough to be caught.

The magpie in the foreground is one of last year's babies - it still has some grey on its chest and it's beak is not fully white. Soon it will have to leave the territory but for now, it enjoys the sunflower seeds.
The olive coloured bird on the right at the back is a baby rosella, yet to get it's turquoise and red and orange colours. The bird at the rear centre is also a baby rosella which has begun to get its colours around the throat and above the beak.

Lovely photo darling.

Those are wonderful, vibrant colors on the birds.
