Are Trucks more popular than Churches ?
When I was an altar boy, I didn't worry much about trucks.
Today, do truck drivers bother too much about the church?

Tomorrow, I will fly to Sydney to see my grandson. I will attempt to post from Sydney because Sydney is just a suburb of Adelaide !!! Sorry Sally, it's just a joke.

Spring is in the air.
Soon, the hills will become brown and summer will be upon us. Today it was 30 degrees.
This is the view of the Adelaide hills as seen when looking east along Rundle Street, our busiest street.

Adelaide on a Friday is a busy and vibrant city.

At 4:30 on a Friday afternoon, some cities are jammed up with traffic and people heading home after a busy week. Here, in our town, one can move around, have some drinks with 'amies' or drive home in heavy traffic, which takes only 10 or 20 minutes.
Perhaps one can stroll past Queen Victoria's Statue and the John Dowie fountain and relax.
Adelaide in May: - no worries

Salle de classe en plein air. 2

Between Adelaide's Government House and the Torrens Parade Ground on King William Road and on the banks of the Torrens, is this grassy river terrace, where people sit under shady old trees and peruse the walls of Government House which once bristled with bottle glass.
Today, boarding school girls and their teachers study the history of the place and contemplate the nurses who died in the wars, shown on this little memorial.

The roof is on. Let it Rain !

With a view like this over Adelaide, Elaine and Jørg probably have more on their minds than whether it will ever rain or not. From the foothills overlooking the city, the view is spectacular. At sunrise the sun highlights the 40 kilometre wide Gulf St. Vincent to the west, and Yorke Peninsula beyond, and at sunset the wheat silos can be clearly seen, sometimes silhouetted in a ball of red. However, Lorenzo was proudly concentrating on his job, this day.
