Green, but not Hot nor Bothered, in Adelaide.

Up till now the weather has been quite substandard for an Adelaide summer. The Bureau of Meteorology has been promising one thing and delivering another. But Madame finally put her foot down and actions speak louder than words. Naturally, I obeyed and off to the beach we went. Her Wicked Weasel (.com) swimsuit needed much more than just being worn in the garden while feeding les oiseaux (the magpies). The WW did get wet, when the Bureau provided us with a meagre 37.9 degrees: just warm enough to take the plunge. Naturally, I was a victim of the camera as well, but I'm a little more (or is it less) modest, so bad luck! Tomorrow will be nearer 40 C, that's 104 F and we'll see what happens. Sad thing though, the water temperature is only about 26C / 79F. It's so hard living in such a harsh climate and having to decide whether to wear the green or the orange (or neither) !

My my! That has to be the smallest bikini i've seen! At least the bottoms are. Are you sure Mme didn't pick up an eye patch by mistake? Mme you have a FABulous figure! Looking like that, why not indeed go to the beach in nothing but clothes meant for Barbie? You look wonderful and having such a great time. I'm more than envious now, i'm positively sick with jealousy at the proximity of such a great beach and that weather! mmmm. Again i say, see you Saturday. Next.

Goodness M. Benaut how rude of me, with that photo i clean forgot you had written words! We request politely a photo of M. now in similar pose, though please don a little more than a handkerchief in the name of our sanity, M.
Looking forward to your joint avatar very much. I wouldn't use this one, heaven knows what sort of rabble and ruffians you might attract. Phew! Is it hot in here or is it me?

Lynn,
I didn't think Mme would permit, but she was OK with it. I dare not show you the derriere. But that is the clue to the bit about your trip "sur le vélo de moteur",

Enough already! Can't you girls tell when a bloke has had a few beers? I promise that HIS swimsuit is smaller and I agree, it is only fair that if I am exposed - so to speak - then he should be also! Can't think what possessed me to actually wear my Christmas present to the beach??
Michael, don't be fooled by this photo - underneath is a sensitive, smart, senior woman - very comfortable with the fact that every woman in the world just loves her husband - he is simply irresistable, if a tad wicked (pun - sorry) from time to time.

Your French is Parfait and you say it without an American accent. I say, "Ozzie vite k posseeble". And after a week or so of Blogging , I now know what you mean by "blogging drunk".
Take a peek at this site, an Aussie company in BEAUTIFUL Byron Bay, in northern New South Wales.
And, M"AAAM, do AVAGOODWEEKEND !

Just trying to help !! M"AAM, and crikey, your french is improving by the second. Anyway that's where Mme's. "bathing costume" came from. It gets a bit warm down here and at the moment its 101 F so the outside shower in the elm tree is getting a run, and felix is under the bed.
At 7:30 PM, (Now), I notice it's 50 F in SAN FRANCISCO. That's not too bad.
Going back a few days; San Jose international Airport is about 37 degrees north and the Adelaide Int. is abot 35 degrees south, so we would have an almost identical climate. Therefore we can see you in California summer attire in July !!!

WOW! MMe NAMES them? WOW! Felix? Hmmmmmmmmm...I just call mine BUZZ!!!

I know...I'm very BAD! BUT YOU ASKED for it M-B!

LMAO!

OK, I'll REALLY behave myself now!

Excuse' moi! ;)

Oh dear Ame, I'm very glad you are enjoying your Friday night but I have to put you straight: Felix is our one and only male cat (you will see photos of him shortly on ADP no doubt) and everyone knows that cats find the coolest place to sleep on a very, very hot day which is, of course, the floor.
Our other cats are Sascha (Baby) a chocolate point burmese; Pretty Kittypuss Cat (Tabby and White), Lillipilli (Silver Tabby) and Pussypuss who is a stray black and white cat (of American origin - can't remember the name) who pops in every evening for dinner.
4 of my cats came for a walk in the moonlight with me last night. They walk with me quite often down our long driveway to the letterbox and back.
Incidentally, I've never allowed M.B to enter a pic in the WW competition.

well this certainly warms the cockles of ones heart at 1 am on a bitterly cold morning. I wasn't going to bother till morning proper but my wife woke me up past midnight to say the lightbulb in her study had blown so having fixed that, had a cup of tea, watched a kate night film starring Bridget Bardot thought I'd post my day's pic and just look through a few. I'm quite awake again now!

Morning Gerald,
Praise the Lord for small mercies!
If there's anything we can do to ameliorate the current meteorological contitions in the UK, you have only to ask! Sweet dreams to all.
PS thanks, indeed, for including me in your links, kind sir.
